This is a stunning Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date from 1975. These watches were only sold to the Commonwealth Countries or were a special order only for the UK. The Air-King name has an unprecedented historical value in the Rolex Oyster Perpetual range, this arose from the proprietor of Rolex Hans Wildorf wanting to honour the British Pilots of WW2 and so introduced the Airline of Watches like the Air-Tiger, Air-Lion, Air-Giant and Air-King. This line of Rolex watches remained in production until the early sixties with only the Air-King surviving to present day. The watch has been fully serviced by our in-house watch technician and comes with a full 12 months written warranty.

This is a beautiful solid 18k yellow gold, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer 6599. This watch is accompanied with its original Rolex guarantee dating it to 1959, it also has its original chronometer certificate, coffin box, your oyster booklet and later service booklet. The Rolex 6599 case measures 36mm without its crown, making it very large for the period, it is also fitted with a vintage NOS leatherstrap and original Rolex 14k gold buckle from the 1950's. The very high quality Rolex signed, chronometer 1030 automatic movement is in excellent condition and has been fully serviced by our in-house watch technician and is warranted for 12 months.
