Vintage watch service and restoration requires specialist skills. We specialise in Rolex and other branded vintage watch servicing and restoration. Our in-house vintage watch Technician will carry out a full and comprehensive service of your watch. This will include checking it thoroughly for any damage, faults or areas requiring attention. Should we need to replace any defective or worn parts we will contact you and agree a price for the additional materials before proceeding any further with the restoration.

The movement will be professionally cleaned and regulated to the correct calibration using the highest quality Swiss equipment. At the same time we will professionally clean, polish and grain the case and bracelet to the correct specifications.

Once we have reassembled your vintage watch we will check its performance over a few days to ensure it is returned to you in optimum condition. The same comprehensive service is applied to all brands.

In addition to comprehensive vintage watch service and restoration, we also offer a case and crystal restoration service for a flat rate, please contact us at servicing@thewatchsalon.com

It is important to note we are unable to guarantee waterproofing for vintage watches.

Watch Service Warranty

We provide a watch service warranty with a coverage of 12 months from the date of purchase on all of our Rolex and other brand name watches (with the exception of some vintage watches). Our warranty covers the watch movement and battery replacement for the time period stated.

Watch Mechanical Warranty

All of our watches are serviced and sold with a one year mechanical warranty. Please see terms and conditions for more details. All Rolex watches come with an original vintage Rolex box at no additional charge. We are more than happy to continue to assist with the continued servicing of your watch or any queries you may have after the warranty has expired. We have a Watchmaker and Technician at our disposal from our in-house workshop and can offer a full repair and refurbishment service should you require. Please contact us directly for further details.
