This is a rare Rolex Stainless Steel Oyster Perpetual Date from 1969. This model is a 1501 and comes with the rare thunderbird bezel and Aqua Blue Dial. The watch is fitted with the officially certified, Superlative Chronometer, 26 Jewel 1570 calibre movement, which is particularly accurate, reliable and strong. It is in superb condition and is working perfectly. The movement has been thoroughly serviced and calibrated by our in-house master watchmaker and is warranted for 12 months. This is a beautiful, cared for and slightly used example with only minimal restoration, making this a stunning watch to own.

Stainless Steel 34.5 mm approximately. This has the original Swiss stainless steel case and measuring 34.5 mm in diameter without the Rolex twin lock crown. The case is unmarked and has never been inscribed. This case is in immaculate condition having only been slightly restored. These cases are often excessively over polished and lose complete definition, however this does not apply to our watches as we have a top restoration service.

DIAL:

Aqua Blue with silver Faceted Baton Indexes. Here we have the original Rolex oyster perpetual date dial which has been expertly refinished to the highest standard and it is in excellent condition. The dial is signed “Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date”, “Superlative Chronometer”, “Officially certified”, “T Swiss T”.  This is something special!

STRAP/BRACELET:

Rolex stainless steel bracelet is 19 cm approximately. If you would prefer a different style strap, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
