OMEGA MILITARY SPITFIRE PILOTS RAF 6B/159 WATCH 1943
This an absolutely Superb Omega Military Spitfire Pilots RAF / navigators watch dated 1943 The Original Factory white dial has a nice patina with applied arabic numerals and markers, with the original blued hands. The manual wind movement is signed “Omega Swiss 16 Jewels 9739388. The case back markings are A.M. (6B/159 A4541), the alloy case measures approximately 33mm and the Military Strap is a universal fitting. The watch has been fully serviced by our in-house watch technician and comes with a full 12 months written warranty.
After WW2 the MOD found these watches to be so Robust and accurate that they decided to re-case the Omega movement into stainless steel cases hence the Omega 56 and variants.

The case measures Approximately 33mm wide excluding crown, the inside back is signed ‘Fond Acier Inoxydable Omega emblem Fab Suisse 10543080. The outer markings are A.M 6B/159 A4541.
DIAL:
White Dial. The dial has a very nice aged patina with blemishes and original blued steel hands. Signed ‘Omega Swiss Made’ Dial and Hands are correct.

The Movement is signed ‘Omega Swiss 16 Jewels 9739388’ on the balance bridge are the letters ‘AR’.
