Jaeger LeCoultre

  • JAEGER LE COULTRE 18K GOLD MEMOVOX ALARM 1951  This Jaeger LeCoultre 18k Gold Manual wind Memovox alarm watch is in stunning condition having had a full service and overhaul and new lizard skin strap, the name ‘Memovox’ is composed of the two Latin words ‘memo’ and ‘vox’ which respectively mean ‘remember’ and ‘voice’. By most accounts, the Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox came to the market in 1950 with the hand-wound Calibre 489 movement. However in 1956, the Cal. 489 was replaced with the Calibre 815, making the Memovox the first automatically wound alarm wristwatch, this is the manual wind version making it the earlier edition. Jaeger LeCoultre Vintage Watches are a great investment and have been climbing in price for the past 35 years, there seems to be no limit to that trend ending, as time goes on good quality vintage Jaeger LeCoultre are becoming rarer and rarer as people are adding them to their collections as with wine and classic cars etc. As we all know you do not get much for your money in the bank these days, so why not start your investment portfolio with The Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox, it is a great starter watch for your collection. We give a Life Time Guarantee on Provence that this watch is 100% genuine Jaeger LeCoultre as with all our watches.
